About the Tour

AIA Triangle

Welcome to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Triangle Tour of Residential Architecture events page. The tour showcases architect-designed homes throughout the 10 county North Carolina Triangle region.

The tour is an annual event that is held in the fall around September or October. The self guided, ticketed event fosters increased public awareness and accessibility to architecture with an in-depth look at the area’s most innovative residential design showcasing the value that architects bring to residential projects regardless of scale, scope, location, or style.

Come help us celebrate our 10 years of home tours. Tickets for the 2019 Residential Tour, a self-guided tour open to the public can be purchased closer to tour day. Once you have purchased tickets, visit Tour residences at your leisure; architects and docents will be available at each site to answer questions.

We look forward to welcoming you for our tenth anniversary to enjoy a day of great design! In the meantime, click here to learn more about the American Institute of Architects and watch out for Residential Tour events throughout the year.
