Welcome to the 5th year of AIA Triangle Tour of Residential Architecture

The American Institute of Architects [AIA] Triangle Tour of Residential Architecture showcases award-winning, architect-designed homes throughout the North Carolina Triangle region. The 2014 residences were announced at the Triangle Section of the AIA Design Awards ceremony. Each residence received an AIA Triangle Design Award for design excellence and construction quality. The tour winners were selected by an independent architecture jury chaired by Whitney Powers of the Charleston-based design firm Studio-A Architecture.

Tickets are on sale now for the Residential Tour, a self-guided tour open to the public. Tickets can be purchased on tour day from any of the residences. Once you have purchased tickets, begin at any of the homes and visit them at your leisure. On tour day architects and docents will be available at each site to answer your questions. We look forward to welcoming you to a beautiful day of great design!

The 2014 Tour Book is here! It includes more information about the architects, residences, products and materials. It is also a good guide for getting around on Tour Day.
